Introductions.

Hello. For the purposes of this project, my name is Sefii. I'm a 21-year-old college student. I was born-and-raised in the LDS faith. Though I've made visits to places across the United States, I have never lived outside of Utah. I am the oldest child and only daughter amongst four children. I have a mother, whom I love with all my heart -- though our relationship has always been, and continues to be, rife with power struggle. I had a father, once, but I do no longer.

This project is the documentation of my attempts to become an independent human being, after years of abuse, codependency, spiritual struggle, mental anguish, and denial. There will be discussion about the System that feeds the situations in which I have found myself. There will be personal anecdotes. There will be lists. There will be periodic checkpoints: analysis of where I am at, in relation to becoming a healthy person.

I invite you to join me. It's bound to be an adventure.
